Catch 122
Located in historic Gastown, Catch 122 serves up rustic French food in a casual setting. Simple food you can relate to: comfort cuisine, wicked coffee, daily fresh-baked pastries, house-made charcuterie, and great local craft beer.
That’s Catch 122.
I’ve been on a roll lately, in my foodie discoveries…
last night was No Exception!
The only dilemma I faced was the process of selecting my entree and for that I was under the tutelage of Skye. Genuine, helpful & gregarious from the moment we walked in the door he exhibited such polished mannerisms I felt immediately at home.
Having done a flight at the newly renovated Vancouver Urban Winery, along with tapas.. We headed for Dinner at Catch 122!

One of the boasts of this absolutely unique place, is their focus on Comfort, Rustic & Casual.
Comfort: Hand-made bread, house-made charcuterie, freshly roasted meats, and daily baked pastries take you back to the days when ingredients were local, you knew where they came from, and food tasted the real food should taste.
Rustic: Located in a historic Gastown building, more than 100 years old, Catch 122 is in the heart of the original downtown Vancouver business district from the turn-of-the-century. The original brick walls, re-claimed lumber, steel and iron give it a raw feel, not unlike the menu.
Casual: Relax with friends at Catch 122, whether you are here for an espresso beverage at our wicked coffee bar, a hand-crafted sandwich during lunch, or a casual relaxing dinner. Great local craft beers are available on tap and in bottles to help wind down with friends after work.

I loved everything about this place:
Great vibe, very New York meets Paris, but neighbourly too which I think I like to expect from a Gastown Establishment. Not only will I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, but I will be back again.
Huge thank you to the man of the hour, Chef Ian & to Skye. Above and beyond boys. #mPowered
